WKB In our community working together...

'Since West Kirby in Bloom was formed our volunteers now care for more than 50 floor and railing planters across West Kirby and theOld Village. Some were adopted from other voluntary groups and others were purchased from new. Also, we have planted the following areas:
Hilbre View Gardens
'Rotary Corner', at the junction of Dee Lane & Banks Road
St Bridgets Lane at the junction of Village Road in the Old Village
'Post Box Corner' and the long border on Grange Road to the junction with Westbourne Road
Mixed borders around the Concourse area
'Sheep Field' border.
We continue to develop and maintain these areas to look their best all year round.
In addition, we provide regular support to the Friends of Victoria Gardens to develop and maintain this popular public garden.

West Kirby In Bloom

Is a group of volunteers who strive to improve and maintain the look of our beautiful village by planting flowers, plants and bulbs, giving it a burst of colour and vibrance. Formed in September 2019 by like-minded residents and local business owners, we aim to provide a more attractive environment for residents and visitors and support our small shops and businesses.

We believe that we have made good progress, reflected in the many comments our volunteers receive and through social media.

But there is more to be done...
